Here's a short video presentation of the report to the Lacave's caves.

Starting Saturday, June 11, my aunt with me, starting in the morning to the caves of Lacave
We arrive at the caves when the little train that takes us to the maze of underground corridors leaves. Missed ! It does not matter, we take our tickets and take the opportunity to visit the shop. Then, once the tour ended, we're ready to take the next train.

We are finally on the train, we leave for a short ride in the rock. The train takes us to mine 450 meters of rock.

Just landed from the train, we are in a long passage not very high ceiling.

At the end of the hoses, we have a choice: the elevator or stairs. Go for trekking. A few dozen steps up, we arrive in a large room with small lakes formed by the drops fell stalactites. The course consists of two loops each time by returning to this great hall.
We start with the first loop and the first small lake with reflections, one can easily see''background''far from the surface, about the same as the ceiling is several feet, when in fact the bottom is not more than 20 cm under water. This is caused by the reflection of water and just as the water is clear is stationary, the mirror is perfect. We can also see, as in the clouds but the concretions, an elephant, statuettes and other changing. A little further we find draperies, these concretions formed by the drops of water loaded with limestone instead of straight down like stalactites from the ceiling after the vault. Over time, the limestone builds up and forms a bulge that grows with the passage of the drops eventually form as a piece of heavy fabric hanging from the ceiling.
Soon after, we can see that the columns (a stalactite and a stalagmite which merged) have a crack. This is explained by a previous earthquake, dating back thousands of years. Soon after we can see stalactites very special because they look like claws or spider sea. A little further we can see calcite crystals.

End of the first loop, the second towards the shimmering lake, the limestone blocks, the frozen waterfall, the bright room with its green drops visible through the black light because of fluorinated particles contained in the sediments.

Following the visit with concretions called''cauliflower''because of their shape. This particular form is due to a drop height of the water drops, in fact, less than 3 meters (if I am correct in my notes) the drops are not fast enough to splash away at the so what impact the form of stalagmites straight. Above 3 m, however it was the drops that''explode''on arrival and therefore forms training plateaus and as one can see, cauliflower.
A little later, the ceiling, we can see how the ancient underground river has hollowed out the rock, trying to get out and cutting into the softer the rock, carrying all these pieces of limestone sediments.
