Friday, December 17, when I get out of work, I take out my camera and head for the city center !
The city has gone all out this year for Christmas decorations. Last year already, but even more this year, it's too good!
I start my little tour by avenue de la République, with the small decorated roundabout and the street itself.
A large teddy bear in light is seated a little further, before ending up leading to the Saint-Martin collegiate church with a small yellow umbrella waiting for the night to pass.
Around Saint-Martin, the main place of the illuminations, there are a lot of lights, a big Santa Claus, a big Christmas tree, Santa's letterbox, the christmas gifts's shops chalets and even a 20m Ferris wheel !
I go up the avenue de Paris then the rue Toulzac, where there are always the wave-shaped garlands which go up the whole street, forming like a canopy.
Halfway up the street, I stop on the Place du Civoir, to photograph the present decorations: Santa's slugger and a huge snow bear!
My little tour of the city finished, I calmly resume my way home, stars in my eyes as much as in the photos.
Happy end of year celebrations to all!
